Thanks to teachers
When I was in middle school, my facial expression didn't look comfortable. After my parents passed away, my face looked poor, and no matter how hard I tried, the expression on my face was not happy. In my middle school years, I didn't have such a happy face. After my parents died, my facial expressions seemed poor, so no matter how hard I tried, my face didn't look so happy.
At that time, I was constantly looking for peace of mind. I had a strong desire for peace of mind. In the second year of middle school, the homeroom teacher was a female teacher, guided students well, and was very determined in admonishing their wrong behaviors. Still, the teacher always seemed to be at peace. When I was in the second year of junior high school, I was able to take the first place in all classes for the first time. Also, my inner side could be a little more peaceful and firm. At that time, I was worried about whether I could go to high school, and I also had to worry about whether I should get a job to make money quickly. Nevertheless, thanks to the teacher, I was able to make my second year of middle school the happiest of my middle school days.
In the third year of middle school, I bought The Precious Mirror of Bright Mind at a bookstore in front of the school and read one or two pages a day to find peace of mind. 1) Since the time when I started attending the church was after the high school entrance exam, I tried to get peace of mind by reading my sense of mind.
After passing the entrance exam for Science High School, my news was published in a magazine published by Samsung Shipyard on Geoje Island. My face in the picture I took at that time didn't look so happy. Although it was an interview to congratulate me, in the photo, I was not a face full of joy. The president of an educational institution, run by Samsung Shipyard, called "Scholarship Class," has always encouraged me.
When I was in Grade 11 and 12, I met Soon-bok Kang as my homeroom teacher. I am thankful for his encouragement during 2 years. When I visited Korea to be ordained as a pastor, I first preached in a church as an ordained pastor. In that church, I met my teacher, Soon-bok Kang again. He was serving as an elder of the church. Also, by chance, at the church I met another my homeroom teacher of Grade 7. So I was able to preach in front of my teachers at Grade 7, 11, 12. It was a great honor for me to be able to preach my first sermon as a pastor in front of teachers respected by me.
1) I remember some quotes from the book. The quotes I remember are as follows:

Before going on to take my doctoral thesis defense last Thursday, I asked my wife to take a picture of me. I looked like a high school student in a suit, carrying a backpack and standing with a lunch bag. Compared to that picture and the picture from Grade 9, the picture on the morning of my doctor's thesis defense seemed much more comfortable. I would like to express my deep respect and gratitude to all the teachers who have given me love so that my pitiful facial expressions change into a peaceful face. And I thank God for allowing all of those meetings and giving me grace.
1) I remember some quotes from the book. The quotes I remember are as follows:
Master Gongja says the person who follows Heaven rises and the person who violates Heaven falls.
Emperor Soyeal in the Han dynasty issued a royal edict based on his last words to his son: "Maintain good conduct even for trivial matters. Do not do ill even if it seems a trivial matter."
